Mr. Hayashi was born at Yamaguchi Pref., Japan. He joined AIC when he was 21 years old as a young and poor inbetweener. The first AIC anime he worked was "Gall Force" in 1987 and the first storyboard he drew was "Bubblegum Crisis" OVA series Episode 4. The first anime he directed was "Sol Bianca."
After "Sol Bianca 2", he delivered his most famous works so far "Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki" OVA 1 and "El Hazard -The Magnificent World" to the world.
His latest anime is "Mahou Yuugi" and he is working on his next anime "BPS".
