Mr. Onda was born on December 17, 1962 at Hokkaido, Japan. He attended the same high school as Mr. Yasuhiko Yoshikatu and Mr. Kogawa Tomonori. After graduating from high school he entered "Studio BeVore" and "Dr. Slump" became the first anime work he was involved with. He entered "Pack Studio" (founded by Mr. Kitatsume) and became the Key frame animator in "Aura Battler Danbai" and Animation director in "Gundam Z" and "Hono no Alpenroze". "Drangon Century" was his debut anime as Character designer. Deeply influenced by western art sketches, his anime characters are very attractive and different from traditional Japanese Character designs.
His most famous works are "Sol Bianca" and "Ai No Kusabi".
The latest Character design work with AIC was "Parasite Doll", the sequel of A.D. Police.
