There is a Japanese noodle restaurant located 30 min. away from AIC. The Japanese noodle is extremely good(I only had it once) but you need your luck if you want to have it. What?! Why? The restaurant doesn't open everyday and even it does, it only open 30 min.(from 6:00pm to 6:30pm). A friend said :"One day, I'm sure the chef was in the kitchen preparing the food for its pretty light in the kitchen, so I was waiting in front of the restaurant. But for unknown reason, on 6:00pm sharp, he turned off the light and decided he was not going to open the restaurant that day." What a weird place! (WM)

::: January 17th, 2002 :::

I tried to find "The Tombs of Atuan" here in Japan and the bookstores are full of "Harry Potter" and "The Lord of Rings". I can use Amazon but I really don't want to wait weeks for I ran out of books to read, I need books NOW! Anyway, I got "Flowers of Algernon" and a Japanese edition of "The Tombs of Atuan" instead. I almost finished Atuan and I think the "The Wizard of Earthsea" is much more interesting.(J)

The CATV I had at home was showing "Giant Robot the animation" last night. It's a great anime(good story+good anime quality+good music) and of course, the leading female character is very charming(she is a Chinese who wears super mini skirt type Chinese dress *.*;) I wonder how much the production company spend on it for the quality is really high. Today, one of robot geeks in office told me it took 6 years to finished "Giant Robot the animation" OVA series(6 episodes) and GB fans ran out of patient at the end. Ah...come to think about Tenchi...the Tenchi fans are pretty stickable to this anime.(BBS m)

:::January 10th, 2002:::

The office are full of souvenirs that our employees brought back from their hometown after New Year holidays. Delicious cookies, fruits..etc. Special thanks to Mr. A.Y. for sharing the delicious strawberry in his hometown.Yum!
