"Animator no omocha~Part 4"

Typhoon Etau (#10 in the Japanese system) moved through all of Japan during last weekend. Even so the AIC employees love their work SO VERY MUCH that almost everybody showed up in the office. The "love" part is not 100% true because if we don't work during weekend, some anime may not be ready to be aired on time.
The picture on the left: The animator who owns this electric hot-water kettle says he has no idea who stuck the pair of legs into that place. But it's funny that way, so he leaves them there.
Picture on the right: You know who they are :p

These are two AIC anime related pictures I took at "Wonder Festival" 2003 (8/3). "Wonder Festival" is an exhibition where lots of amateur and professional figure sculpture artists get together to display or sell their hand made anime or game figurines. It's been 10 years after AIC released the first Tenchi anime and it is delightful to know there are people still making Tenchi figurines.
"Mikagami" (Seto-sama's battleship) and Ryo-Ohki in these pictures were on display at a booth that sold Tenchi related figurines and these two figurines were completely sold out.>:-)(BBS_M)

The pictures above are the booths of AIC (left) and IMAGICA entertainment, the distributor of our latest anime "Go Dannar", at C3 2003(August 23). The theme of this year's C3 exhibition was "robot" so we showed our robot anime (Dangaioh, Great Dangaioh, Megazone23 and Go Dannar) music clips in the booth. According our booth's PR people, there were some robot otaku who shouted "DANGAIOOOOHHHH~~~!!!!" along with the music clips in front of our little TV screen and scared them. ^^;

That night when returning to the office from C3, I finally took pictures of the fireworks that one can see from the roof of the AIC building every summer. I never thought that taking fireworks pictures is THIS difficult :-O. Guess for taking beautiful fireworks photos you need a better camera and great shutter timing. The last fireworks show of this year that you can see from AIC is August 30(Sat.) and it means the end of summer has arrived. Chotto sabishii.
