TOKYO...The metropolis was struck by a strong earthquake and had been
reduced to rubble. The government functions moved to the suburbs and
the ex-capital turned into a slum. Though it was said that the reconstruction
of the area was impossible, Genom, a precision machine maker started
a project to reconstruct the town by harnessing a man-made humanoid,
"Voomer"(Voodoo Organic Metal Extention Resource), beginning
around 2005. The ruins have been resurrected as a new town called
"Genom City" which is under the control of the company.
But an unexpected crime type has increased. Overdrive accidents involving
the praised Voomers are on the upswing. Arising from illegal voomers
